James Haywood
While his background lies in aerospace engineering, he likes to explore and challenge materials and shapes. At the heart of his work is a deep-rooted commitment to championing the utilization of discarded materials whenever possible. He perceives these often-overlooked materials through the lens of artistic expression.
Haywood embarked on a journey to challenge the widespread use of Portland cement, a material known for its detrimental effects. Despite its tarnished reputation, he firmly believe that concrete is an incredible medium that holds vast potential for creativity and innovation.
