The rug combines the textures of various Dutch winter landscapes with bright colors found in Burkinabé fabrics. The multiple pile heights and yarn types stimulate the touch.
Studio Somé
Robyne Somé was trained as an architect, but started Studio Somé to explore an artistic urge. Through the lens of her multi-cultural background she is continuously creating expressions of light, colors and textures. The result is a fusion of West-African symbolism and Western techniques.
